An evening excursion to hear the howl of the wolf, a reminder that evokes unique sensations and instincts. But in reality, it is an extraordinary means of distance communication between packs or between members of the same pack<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The wolf-howling is a technique used in the past by wolf hunters of Abruzzo and now used for research purposes, to study wolf populations in the Apennines. Ecotur decided to “bring” people to this important animal proposing the wolf-howling in key education in order to promote a culture favorable view of the wolf. this experience is the opportunity to get to know this amazing predator, demonized and reduced to extinction over the centuries, but today is returning to repopulate so consistete the mountainous areas of the Alps and Apennines evening excursion has then a special charm, where you can find yourself in the middle of wild nature, rediscovering the senses, with a magnificent starry sky framed by us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Uphill and downhill: about 100 m. Walking time: 1 hour and 30 minutes bout. Distance: about 3 km. night hike<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Waterproof Hiking boots ,waterproof and windproof jacket (goretex possibly), backpack, long pants, flashlight, glaves and fleece or wool hat . It is recommended to dress in layers, whereas in ambush might get cold.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
