The snow-capped mountains of the Park will be the backdrop to this wonderful and romantic weekend. We wear snowshoes to enjoy the unique atmosphere that only the winter forest is able to convey. We will walk in search of wolves, with the moon to illuminate our path. We will stay at a comfortable small hotel and we will relax the fireplace. Will taste the best dishes of Abruzzo tradition and spend a romantic weekend adventure.
When
February 2017, 10 – 11 – 12. In partnership with Ecotur, minimum number of participants: 8 persons.
Equipment
Hiking boots, jacket (possibly gore-tex) waterproof hooded windbreaker, backpack, water bottle, flashlight, leggings, hat and gloves wool or fleece, sunglasses, long pants and “stacks”, sunscreen cream , camera, binoculars.

Half-board in rooms with services, support of Nature guide as planned, any rent snowshoes.

Program
first day
PESCASSEROLI arrival in the afternoon, meeting at the office of Ecotur, hotel accommodation. Brief introductory walk in the ancient village of Pescasseroli. 20.00 dinner and program presentation and projection of an audiovisual Park.
second day
08.30 Breakfast;
9:00 am departure for a ‘hike in secular beech forest of Defense Pescasseroli “in search of traces of wild animals.” Lunch break. Return to the hotel in the early afternoon. 16.00 departure for a hike at night on the trail of the Wolf “With snowshoes in the moonlight.” Return at 21.00. We end the evening in front of a good hot pot of soup and porridge and sipping a glass of red wine.
day Three
8.30 breakfast. 9:00 am meeting with the guide and departure for a hike on snowshoes to admire the beautiful winter scenery of the park. Packed Lunches. Back in the early afternoon and departure.
