Pescara is one of the four Provinces of Abruzzo. Located in front of the Adriatic Coast, it is a popular centre for tourism and shopping and it’s linked to the rest of the world through Abruzzo International Airport.

Penne, “city of the brick” and chief town of the Vestine area, among stately homes and splendid views, embraces a fascinating historical centre, dominated by the Cathedral. Is is a few kilometers from “Lago di Penne” regional nature reserve.

Palena is a little village located in the Province of Chieti, very rich in history, art and traditions.

Pacentro is a village not far from the beautiful Sulmona (10 kms) and is a perfect departure point for winter and summer sports, but also for suggestive walks in Majella National Park or along the tiny streets of the historical centre.

Ortona, native city of Saint Thomas whose relics have been treasured in the local cathedral since 1258. Inside the abbey, you can also admire a huge painting made by Basilio Cascella representing Saint Thomas’ doubt and the stone of its original grave, stolen from Chios Island in Greece.

Navelli is placed in the middle between the three National Parks: Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, Velino Sirente and Maiella.

Discover the cradle of Bertonian civilization, Montebello di Bertona. Its castle soars high this precious village, located in the Vestine area not far from Penne and Loreto Aprutino.

Manoppello is a pretty village where the Holy Face of Jesus is treasured, a veil representing the original Christ’s image; moreover, Manoppello is very rich in religious history and architecture: the most important church is Santa Maria d’Arabona.

In Loreto Aprutino, ancient medieval village similar to a Christimas crib, you can’t miss the Chiola castle, the Museum of Pottery, the Museum of Olive Oil and the Church of  Santa Maria delle Piane.
