We suggest some amazing itineraries by Mountain Bike or Racing Bike through the Sirente-Velino Regional Park and the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. Deep into Abruzzo nature, you will discover medieval mountain villages, ancient pasture, historical hermitages, mysterious caves and ancestral traditions. You will also tast local food and, if you want to, join cooking lessons with Abruzzo inhabitants! You will overnight in holiday farms or historical buildings, tasting local dishes.

The journey includes: Biking
Day 1
• Arrival or transfer to Villa Sant’Angelo and accommodation at “La Villa” country house;

Visit to the village and the caves of Stiffe;
•
Dinner based on local dishes, meeting with the tour guide and explanation of the tour schedule.
Day 2
• After breakfast, transfer to Pagliare, old rural mountain villages;

Packed lunch;
•
Transfer to Goriano Valli, visit to the village and to “Vigna di More” local firm; tasting and otpional wine tasting lesson;

Accommodation in Goriano Valli.
Day 3
• After breakfast, you will bike through the ancient route that mules used to deliver snow blocks from the mountain to the valley;

-Along the route, you will visit Secinaro, San Lorenzo di Beffi and the lake of Tempra;

Lunch at “Chalet di Montagna del Sirente”;
•
Accommodation “ La Corte” country house in S. Lorenzo di Beffi.
Day 4

No scheduled bike tours. Guests can choose among: relax, lake of Sinizzo, wine cellars, Sulmona etc;

Day 5
• After breakfast, biking from Fontecchio to Caporciano and accommodation in country house;

Along the itinerary you will visit: the hermitage of S. Erasmo on the mountains and the village of Bominaco, with its wonderful frescos, the church of Santa Maria dell'Assunta and the medieval castle.
Day 6
• After breakfast, biking from Caporciano to Fagnano Alto and accommodation;

You will bike through a part of the “Tratturo”: ancient cattle track;
•
You will also visit Peltuinum archaeological camp and the medieval catle of Prata.
Day 7

Visit of the church of Santa Maria ad Cryptas in Fossa with its extraordinary frescos;
