Discover Abruzzo with its magical winter mouintain landscape. Excursion will be self-guided and starting from the medieval village of Penne, where you will be given ski or snowshoes and the route map (pdf or GPX). You will have the chance to choose between two proposals: Campo Imperatore plateau or Voltigno flatland. In Campo Imperatore, you will enjoy a famous movie setting, where western and historical Italian and American movies have been set in recent years. In Voltigno, you will go trekking and admire mountains and valleys deep into nature.
After your excursion, don’t miss local food and wine, we can suggest the best restaurant in the area. If you are tired after your trekking and also want suggestions for your accommodation, ask at the end of the tour.
