The Voltigno refuge is located on the plateau of the same name, in the municipality of Carpineto della Nora, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
The view, the landscape, the trails, are truly spectacular. The Refuge is ideal for those who want to discover the southern slope of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park and in particular the Voltigno plateau, the Angri Valley and Monte Bertona. The structure is located at about 1400 meters above sea level and can be easily reached from Carpineto della Nora or from Villa Celiera.
An ideal place also for off-road pedaling and cross-country skiing enthusiasts, thanks to Francesco’s and Nicolò passion it is possible to organize tastings and excursions on horseback on the spot.
Partner structure of Wolftour, the Refuge is located along the Via del Sale, one of the most important Paths of the Apennines.
